In Detailed Close-Ups of Far-Off Scenes, Carlos Eduardo Azeredo Mesquita use photography as a tool to investigate and confront constructed realities, myths and beliefs, the blur between truth, fiction and faith, and what appears to be an evidence of a truth. By documenting situations of forgeries, hoaxes or simple fabrications with the sole intention of deceiving, in some case  the only thing at stake is perception and belief, which ultimately, are but the same side of the story.
